Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit Associate to join our team. As an Internal Audit Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial records.
- Perform assigned audit procedures, including reviewing financial statements and conducting physical audits.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, discussing audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Identify areas for process enhancement and recommend solutions to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments, identifying potential areas of exposure and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Review and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement effective audit plans, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis software applications, such as Excel or SQL.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with auditing standards and regulations, such as GAAP or SOX.
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
