Pathology Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pathology Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the centralisation of Anatomic Pathology (AP) Services, harmonising cross-institutional clinical and operational workflows, and promoting sharing and learning within the cluster.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business model for AP services to centralise, harmonise, and consolidate resources and casemix at the cluster level.
  • Collaborate closely across institutions to harmonise clinical and operational workflows, conduct inter-laboratory audits, and promote sharing and learning within the cluster.
  • Organise, collate, and present data to relevant committees and workgroups for strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare, review, and execute service agreements for the provision of AP services within the cluster.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in laboratory and/or operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource management.
  • Prior experience with biosafety management advantageous.
