Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Meat Product Specialist to join our team. As a Meat Product Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and packing high quality cuts of meats according to customer specifications using company standards and adhering to all safety requirements.

The majority of your time will be spent operating processing equipment, such as CryoVac, MultiVacs, Dicers, Needle, Slicer, Portion Cutters, Scales, and other meat production equipment.

You will also be responsible for packing, trimming, and customizing portions of meat products using knives or other meat production equipment.

Your tasks will include counting and stacking on trays portions per customer and company specifications, labeling portions with supplied product labels, setting up packing and labeling areas as required, performing end-of-day functions, actively maintaining and merchandising partial carts, keeping packing areas and cutting rooms clean and sanitized, and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain sanitary conditions.

Requirements
  • Must be physically fit, able to lift cartons 10-20kg
  • Able to handle meat processing equipment safely

Working Conditions
