
Meat Product Specialist

A Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing and packing high-quality cuts of meats according to customer specifications, adhering to safety requirements and company standards.
The role involves operating processing equipment, cutting, trimming, and customizing meat products, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitized working environment that meets Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will be able to work in a refrigerated environment (-18 °C – 10 °C) and lift cartons weighing 10-20kg with ease.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack high-quality cuts of meats according to customer specifications, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
- Operate various types of meat processing equipment, including CryoVac, MultiVacs, Dicers, Needle, Slicer, Portion Cutters, and Scales, with precision and efficiency.
- Pack, trim, and customize portions of meat products using knives or other meat production equipment, following established guidelines and procedures.
- Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications, verifying accuracy and quality before packaging.
- Label portion with supplied number product labels, ensuring correct identification and traceability.
- Set up packing and labeling area as required, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform end-of-day functions, including cleaning and sanitizing the area, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Actively maintain and merchandise partial carts, presenting products in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Keep the packing area, cutting room, and surrounding area clean and sanitized, adhering to GMP and company standards.
- FOLLOW COMPANY GMP to maintain sanitary conditions, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Requirements
- Must be physically fit, with the ability to lift cartons weighing 10-20kg.
- Able to handle meat processing equipment safely, following proper procedures and guidelines.
