Social Media Manager Job Description

Develop a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engage our audience.

This role involves creating and publishing high-quality original content, collaborating with influencers, managing our community by responding to comments, and overseeing our social sentiment across platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth research on relevant topics to develop original content.
  • Developing creative, high-quality written and visual content for each social media campaign.
  • Monitoring our brand on social media.
  • Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers in the space.
  • Responding to comments strategically on company accounts.
  • Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience working with and developing a marketing plan.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a company's social accounts, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Medium.
  • Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform.
  • Proven ability to build social media communities.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Ability to measure campaigns with Google Analytics and Social Analytics Tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
  • A portfolio of published articles and/or social posts.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
