Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced M&E engineer to join the Infra Development team for the Redevelopment of Alexandra Hospital.

">

The ideal candidate will evaluate consultants' design of M&E systems to ensure they meet the requirements of an acute and community hospital setting.

">

This role involves close collaboration with Facilities Management, Development, Operations, and Clinical departments to determine M&E system requirements.

">

Prior experience in planning and managing hospitals in similar settings is highly valued.

">

Knowledge of IT systems, IT integration, and smart technologies is an advantage.

">

Job Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Plan and lead M&E engagements with consultants and stakeholders, ensuring productive sessions and informed decision-making.">
  • Document and disseminate stakeholder engagement discussions.">
  • Work closely with consultants to capture all stakeholder requirements.">
  • Monitor design and construction timelines to meet project deadlines.">
  • Presentation of M&E design proposals for management approval.">
  • Review contract packaging and specifications, including clauses on T&C and maintenance after DLP.">
  • Coordination of on-site activities, including technical coordination, mock-up reviews, and T&C issues.">

    • Technical Coordination: ensures timely completion of tasks by coordinating resources, personnel, equipment, materials, information, and budget.">
    • Mock-Up Reviews: evaluates proposed designs or samples based on quality, aesthetics, functionality, and feasibility.">
    • T&C Issues: identifies defects, inconsistencies, errors, omissions, discrepancies, conflicts, inadequacies, faults, failures, malfunctioning, irregularities, non-compliance, contraventions, breaches, etc. related to material compliance, form, fit, function, etc.">

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.">
    • At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with project management background.">
    • Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.">
    • Knowledge of IT systems, integrations, and smart technologies is advantageous.">
    • Experience in planning, developing, and managing infrastructure projects.">
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.">
    • Passion for healthcare planning and hospital development.">
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.">
