About the Role:
Singapore Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Passenger Sales Accounting professional to join our Finance Division. As a key member of the Passenger Sales Accounting Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sales accounting entries generated by our International Passenger Revenue Accounting system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation and Clearance: Reconcile various Passenger Sales' clearance accounts within targets set, investigate and clear sales and refunds related pending errors, and identify sales anomalies and ticketing errors. Liaise with stations and/or other stakeholders to resolve issues timely.
- Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure accuracy of sales accounting entries generated by the International Passenger Revenue Accounting system, and address queries from stations, outsourced vendors, and customer servicing teams to resolve issues pertaining to Pax Sales' operational matters.
- Document Management: Monitor document submission (i.e. invoices, credit notes, etc.) from stations and ensure timely and complete dispatch to the outsourced vendor. Highlight and follow up with stations on any delay or incomplete submissions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with revenue control and interline billing teams, attend to and resolve issues promptly, and monitor and manage the passenger sales related work done by outsourced vendors to ensure targets are met.
- Quality Control and Guidance: Conduct quality control checks on the passenger sales related work done by outsourced vendors to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks, and guide the outsourced vendor in the reconciliation and clearance of Passenger Sales' suspense accounts.
- Project Support: Assist in project implementation and User Acceptance Testing, and assist in the timely completion of the Control Self-Assessment exercises.
Requirements:
- Education: Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance; fresh diploma graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills and Abilities: Able to work independently, collaboratively, and under tight deadlines; adaptable to changes and a problem solver; good inter-personal and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP will be advantageous.
