The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to join our Business and Technology Group Labs Division as a domain specialist in robotics. As a key member of our team, you will support the development of robotics and Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) applications within the organization, while providing technology consultation to industries. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating prototype and Minimum Viable Products that showcase the latest network connectivity technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cross-functional teams in developing strategy and implementation plans for robotics/AMR applications at a national level.
  • Support the setup of robotics/AMR within the organization and at our research/translation lab.
  • Design and implement robust software for robotics/AMR applications, including minimum viable products and prototypes.
  • Write in-depth technology reports and white papers to share our perspective on technology trends across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with industry and academic partners to drive translation and innovation in developing products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Passionate about robotics/AMR application development.
  • Strong technology interpretation skills, able to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Expertise in software development, particularly for robotics/AMR applications.
  • Proficient in robot programming using Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) and Linux environment, with hands-on experience in C++/Python for robotics/AMR application development.
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains preferred: Robot Intelligence, Machine Vision, LLM, Sensor Fusion, Motion Planning, etc.
