Electrical Drafter Job Description

As an Electrical Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed design and drafting for electrical systems. You will read, interpret, and produce accurate M&E and building drawings, as well as shop drawings and as-built drawings.

  • Create high-quality designs and drawings that meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Review and revise drawings based on project needs or stakeholder feedback.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the M&E or building services field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems and their integration in building projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in English for clear communication and documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent drawing and design skills. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
