Electrical Drafter Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team. As an Electrical Drafter, you will be responsible for designing and preparing manufacturing drawings for electrical switchboards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with BIM, VertexG4, and AutoCAD M&E 3D drawings. You will also have expertise in 2D and 3D drafting, as well as the ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and specifications.
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering. We offer a competitive salary and excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare manufacturing drawings for electrical switchboards.
  • Perform calculations such as weight, heat loss, and air flow simulations as needed.
  • Prepare Material Order Lists for mechanical parts and liaise with vendors for material inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and specifications, and recognize different materials/sheet metals used in switchboards.
