">About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure platforms.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications in cloud environments.
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems for databases to track performance metrics and identify potential issues.
- Support and troubleshoot cloud-based application services with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, logging systems, and performance monitoring.
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, including hands-on experience in deploying and managing infrastructure and services.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting for databases to track performance metrics, identify potential issues, and optimize database configurations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Extensive experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud-based application services with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, logging systems, performance monitoring, and common application stack issues.
Desirable Skills:
">- Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices.
- Experience in implementing backup and recovery strategies for cloud-based databases, including scheduling regular backups, testing recovery procedures, and implementing backup retention policies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating tasks and managing cloud resources.
- Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization practices to ensure cost-effective use of cloud resources.
