Job Description

The Corporate Affairs & Communications Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate governance, and corporate secretarial matters. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, this position is integral to maintaining the organisation's reputation and stakeholder relationships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Secretarial Services: Providing comprehensive corporate secretarial services in accordance with the Registry of Societies ensures all filings and documentation are accurate and timely.
  • Board Communication: Preparing, arranging, and communicating meeting agendas for the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders ensures all members are informed and engaged.
  • Minutes Taking: Accurately recording and distributing minutes for Head of Departments (HODs) meetings and Board meetings ensures proper filing and timely dissemination.
  • Due Diligence: Conducting thorough due diligence checks on potential board members ensures compliance with governance standards.
  • Compliance Advisory: Staying updated on relevant laws and regulations provides proactive advice on compliance matters and corporate governance issues.
  • Crisis Communication: Developing and implementing crisis communication plans effectively manages and mitigates risks during emergencies.
  • Content Creation: Writing, editing, and distributing a variety of communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, social media content, and reports, ensures consistent and effective messaging across all channels.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: A Diploma in Corporate Secretarial Practice or a related field is required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate affairs or a similar role is necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good command of English are essential.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Team Player: The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage multiple tasks effectively is crucial.
  • Organisational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Words, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google documents is required.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is SGD $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
