We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and care to a class of children, ensuring their safety, security, and overall well-being. This will involve:
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of the children.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
- Managing classroom environments to promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Assessing and recording children's progress through various methods, including observation and documentation.
- Preparing and submitting accurate records of achievement for each child, including individual portfolios and reports.
- Fostering positive relationships with parents and carers to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, demonstrating excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrating a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant Early Childhood certification, such as ACEY or HCIC.
- Registration with ECDA as EY1 or EY2, L2, or L1.
- A strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
