Job Opportunity:

To attend and conduct various types of surveys on board ships and at sites, focusing on cargo, cargo measuring equipment, and marine-related activities.

Key responsibilities include performing marine surveys onboard vessels and inspecting cargo at sites to assess and report on their condition for insurance claims. Additionally, verifying equipment onboard vessels to ensure compliance with relevant standards or specifications is crucial in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in Nitec/ITE related to marine studies or a Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Experience working onboard vessels is highly valued, as is the ability to work irregular hours, including Public Holidays due to ship schedules. Successful candidates will have opportunities to travel overseas based on their performance and skill level. A six-month probationary period will be required before the successful candidate can take up the position.

Requirements:
  • Nitec/ITE related in marine or Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or Marine related
  • Experience onboard vessel an advantage
  • Prepare to work at irregular hours including Public Holidays due to ship schedule
  • Opportunity to travel overseas upon satisfactory performance and skill
  • Six months' probation
