Chief Infrastructure Architect

Job Overview

The Chief Infrastructure Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure to support business operations.

This involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define network, infrastructure and equipment requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define network, infrastructure and equipment requirements.
  • Project Management: Develop comprehensive project plans to meet business needs.
  • End-User Services (EUS): Manage EUS department schedules, dashboard reporting, and endpoint staging.
  • Equipment Procurement and Installation: Oversee procurement, setup and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures, provide assistance in security investigations and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud computing)
  • Experience or relevant certification in helpdesk and deskside support
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
