Cloud Infrastructure Architect

    We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions for database and application migrations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance of our AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and manage complex cloud networking solutions, including setting up and optimizing VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and VPC endpoints for AWS RDS, Aurora, and ECS environments.
  • Design, implement, and enforce security policies across AWS cloud environments to ensure compliance with industry standards such as encryption, IAM roles, security groups, key management, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Leverage AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes, following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and other monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and scalability across ECS, RDS, Aurora, and related AWS components.
  • Collaborate with development and database teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment of database and application migrations.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of performance bottlenecks and cloud resource disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
  • Expertise in cloud security, including encryption, IAM roles, and security groups.
  • Knowledge of AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Ansible, and ability to leverage these tools for automation.
  • Experience with monitoring and optimization tools, such as AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
