About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team as a Falls Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will work with participants to conduct physical assessments, provide individualized exercise programs, and educate them on falls prevention, frailty, and healthy aging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct targeted and individualized physical assessments for participants upon recruitment and during periodic reviews.
  • Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to meet the needs of participants.
  • Train and supervise volunteers and staff at Senior Activity Centres to conduct exercise programs and periodic reviews.
  • Provide education talks on falls prevention, frailty, and healthy aging to promote healthy lifestyles among participants.
  • Ensure proper documentation of records for referral to community partners.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions with the team and partners to develop strategies for improving participant outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required for this position.
