Job Description
As an Exercise Physiologist at TSquared Lab, you will play a pivotal role in managing clients with chronic and lifestyle-related health conditions. You will develop and implement tailored exercise programs while integrating holistic approaches to optimize recovery, performance, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment and Program Development:

1. Conduct thorough assessments of clients in a logical and sequential manner, including evaluating physical capabilities, biomechanical integrity, and overall fitness.
2. Design and implement evidence-based exercise programs tailored for patients with chronic diseases, incorporating behavioural coaching, health education, and lifestyle counselling.

• Clinical Interventions and Monitoring:

1. Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques (e.g., myofascial release, joint mobilizations) to complement exercise interventions.
2. Analyse and correct clients’ exercise form with sound clinical reasoning, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
3. Facilitate clients' recovery, focusing on their return to sport, function, or daily activities.
4. Conduct exercise testing using medical equipment to assess patient health and fitness levels, monitoring and evaluating progress to adjust plans as needed.

• Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Work:

1. Participate actively in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to meetings, case discussions, and collaborative care plans.
2. Work closely with physiotherapists, ostepaths, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
3. Contribute to research, quality improvement activities, and departmental action plans, fostering innovation in patient care.

• Education and Professional Development:

1. Supervise and facilitate learning for support staff, students, junior staff, and peers as required.
2. Contribute to clinical education and training activities to enhance team and individual knowledge.

• Documentation and Compliance:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Education and Experience:

1. Degree in Exercise and Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or equivalent.
2. Certification or expertise in manual therapy or advanced rehabilitation techniques is an advantage.

• Skills and Attributes:

1. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and correct exercise forms.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and work within a team.
3. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary environment.
