Marketing Director

We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to spearhead our B2B marketing strategy in Japan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving demand generation, executing marketing events, and fostering local market knowledge to drive business growth in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong background in digital and traditional marketing channels. Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential, as well as a deep understanding of localization and cultural perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demand Generation: Develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at generating new logos and upsell/cross-sell opportunities in Japan.
  • Marketing Events: Plan and execute events to position our company as a thought leader and generate sales leads from physical and virtual events.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Identify key growth areas and recommend strategic plans and actions aligned with our global strategy.
  • Digital and Search Optimization: Collaborate with global teams to plan, execute, and create content that increases visibility and drives high-quality traffic to our website.
  • Social Media Community Management: Execute social media strategies to expand reach and improve engagement through various channels.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of marketing experience in B2B marketing.
  • Languages: Proficient in both Japanese and English, written and verbal.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels, with a focus on localization and cultural perspectives.
