We are seeking a highly skilled Unix professional to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of Unix-based platforms while driving containerization initiatives in a highly regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, configure, and optimize Unix/Linux environments (RHEL, AIX, or Solaris).
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and performance tuning across production and non-production systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-level incidents with minimal downtime.
  • Deploy, manage, and support Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises or hybrid environments.
  • Build and maintain containerized solutions for critical banking applications.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications using CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, including managing day-2 operations like cluster upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. You should also have advanced knowledge of Ansible for automating infrastructure and application tasks. Additionally, proficiency with Red Hat's middleware products, such as JBoss EAP, AMQ, and 3scale, is required. Experience with GitOps principles and tools like Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) for multi-cluster management and GitOps workflows is also beneficial. Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for custom automation, data manipulation, and administrative tasks are necessary. Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, including command-line tools and system-level configuration, is essential.
