Job Title:

Network Engineer Technician

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations group, you will be responsible for providing Level 2 support for complex technical issues within our Transmission/optical transmission network and datacom IP.

You will analyze network performance, ensure ample capacity to support current traffic, and lead or participate in technical delivery teams during acceptance tests.

Your duties will also include reviewing acceptance test reports & documents as part of project deliveries, ensuring all technical details are collected and properly stored, and liaising with internal network teams, customers, and vendors to manage complex technical problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma majoring in Telecommunication/ IT/ Computer Science/ Engineering or other related technical discipline.
  • Excellent skills in DWDM, MPLS, Routing and Switching and firewall.
  • Multi-vendor product networking experience is an advantage.
  • 3 years of experience in telecommunication industry or in related field is an added advantage.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment, excellent team spirit, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented, good presentation skill, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driving license and ability to drive.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point and ability to create detailed and concise reports and tracking tools.
