Cloud Security Expert

This role plays a pivotal part in driving customer success through their cloud journey. As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

This role specializes in enabling security outcomes in the cloud and upholding high security standards.

A Typical Day:

  • Working with customers to understand their business challenges around security in the cloud and designing technical solutions to address those needs
  • Supporting internal teams and customers across the region in ongoing projects as the field security SME

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • 5+ years of cloud-based solution experience (AWS or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
  • 10+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience
  • 10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
  • Relevant cyber security accreditation including CISSP, CISA, CRISC, etc.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • 7+ years of IT platform implementation experience
  • 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing experience
  • 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
  • 7+ years of scripting language experience
  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services
