Key Responsibilities- Lead a class of 6, catering to the diverse needs of young children including those with developmental delays or disabilities in areas such as motor skills, cognition, communication, and social-emotional.
- Modify instruction and make necessary adaptations to meet individual learning needs.
- Conduct classroom observation and comprehensive evaluations for children aged 0-8 referred to the EIC Developmental Preschool Programme for suspected developmental issues.
- Utilize positive reinforcement and behavioral management strategies effectively.
- Plan, write, and implement children's Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and term progress reports.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons and effectively communicate those objectives to students.
- Possess excellent writing, speaking, listening, and overall communication skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working with young children with developmental delays.
- Apply skills in behavior modification techniques and knowledge in child development within the educational setting.
- Exhibit the ability to take initiative and work independently with a variety of responsibilities and tasks.
- Show effective planning and organizational abilities.
- Display good interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy, cooperation, courtesy, kindness, and patience.
- Demonstrate effective work skills including creativity, conscientiousness, dedication, resourcefulness, efficiency, and organization.
- Advance Diploma, Diploma, and/or Degree in Early Childhood Special Education/Early Intervention.
- Experience in teaching children with special needs (0-8 years of age) in a group setting.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality educational support to children with special educational needs.
