Job Opportunity: Enterprise Network Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team as an Enterprise Network Specialist. This is a dynamic role that involves managing and maintaining enterprise networking infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-integrated systems. As an Enterprise Network Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring active network devices, ensuring network security, and supporting operations through monitoring and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and Manage Network Devices: You will configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless access points, CCTV systems, and access control devices.
  • Install and Support Network Services: You will install and support various network services, including load balancing, remote access, and secure connectivity.
  • Perform Network Maintenance: You will perform network maintenance, upgrades, patch management, and implement security configurations.
  • Monitor Network Performance: You will monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Respond to Network Alerts: You will respond to network alerts and support tickets, escalating where necessary for resolution.
  • Maintain Documentation: You will maintain updated documentation of network architecture, assets, and configuration baselines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree: You must hold a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Experience: You must have at least 3 years of experience in network support or operations in enterprise environments.
  • Networking Technologies: You must have proven hands-on experience with networking technologies (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Cloud Networking: You must be familiar with cloud networking and hybrid network environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Network Security: You must have knowledge of network security protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and access control policies.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
