Job Opportunity for Senior System Engineer
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to provide technical expertise and support our operations team.
As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical consultancy advice on system configuration and overall design. You will also implement system infrastructure expansion designs and configure monitor systems to ensure optimal performance.
You will work closely with clients to verify, isolate, and resolve incidents or problems logged. Your responsibilities will include generating administrative records and reports, applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes, and maintaining the upkeep and configuration of the system.
Key skills and qualifications include a good grasp of technical skills (System) and infrastructure system design, keen sense of urgency for service performance issues, and ability to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround.
- Provide technical consultancy advice on system configuration and overall design
- Implement system infrastructure expansion designs and configure monitor systems
- Assist clients to verify, isolate, and resolve incidents or problems logged
- Resolve system incidents/problems onsite
- Escalate unsolvable problems and service requests to the System or Software Engineer and report escalations to Operation/Project Manager
- Generate relevant administrative records and reports
- Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
- Maintain the upkeep and configuration of the system
