Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) operator to join our team. As an HGV operator, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods and materials from one location to another.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a heavy goods vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order
- Ensure all loads are properly secured before transportation
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Valid Class 4 Driving License
- Class 5 Driving License preferred but not essential
- Experience operating a heavy goods vehicle is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
