We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Specialist to join our team based in Tuas, Singapore.
This is an onsite role reporting to the Service Operation Manager. As a Power Generation Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site.This role requires frequent travel within Singapore. You will work independently to ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Anticipate and address customer needs promptly
- Diagnose and complete less complex repairs using specialized tools and documented procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as per schedules and standards
- Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians and/or supervisor
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents
- Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of power generation equipment and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
