About the Role
At greehill, we're a global leader in nature-based smart-city solutions driven by sustainability and innovation. We harness advanced technologies like remote sensing and machine learning to transform urban green spaces using data from LiDAR scanners and camera systems to create digital twins of urban trees.
This role involves frequent travel to locations across Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe sometimes on short notice. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision under field conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate and manage Mobile Scanning LiDAR (MSL) and Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) equipment in various field conditions
- Execute field work following strict SOPs and data acquisition protocols
- Handle equipment setup calibration troubleshooting and maintenance
- Work closely with project leads to ensure data quality and adherence to specifications
- Upload transfer and document field data securely after each scan
- Maintain clear communication with the technical and operations team
- Participate in project briefings site checks and safety procedures
- Be ready for frequent overseas travel based on project requirements
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be physically fit and able to handle outdoor field work equipment setup and long work hours when required. They must also possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driver's license and be eligible as Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR.
A strong ability to follow SOPs and adhere to data handling protocols without deviation is essential. Detail-oriented punctual and responsible individuals with a proactive attitude are encouraged to apply.
