Job Description:Investment Banking Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our Investment Banking Division. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all transactions and activities within the division are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of work experience in compliance in a reputable bank, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing compliance advisory to IBD, ECM, and M&A transactions
  • Tracking and implementing regulatory changes based on recent regulatory developments
  • Oversight of Control room duties
  • To conduct regulatory reviews and inspections with the external reviewer and regulator.
  • Continue to enhance the existing investment banking division's internal control
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 5 years of work experience in compliance in a reputable bank.
  • University degree or professional qualification in Law / Finance / Accounting / Business or related disciplines.
  • Sound knowledge of rules, regulations and statutory requirements of MAS and/or other regulatory bodies.
  • Effective communications skills (written and spoken).
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Independence and robustness.
  • Personal authority, integrity, and ethics.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of HKD $1,200,000 per annum, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
