Operational Risk Management Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Operational Risk Management (ORM) function.

  • This role is responsible for ensuring our operational risk exposure is adequately managed in line with the group-wide risk appetite and ORM framework.

The successful candidate will partner with senior leaders to facilitate informed risk decisions by providing relevant content necessary to formulate a prioritized path forward.

This role involves defining and embedding an effective Risk and Control Environment, supporting the implementation of robust standards into the organization.

You will develop global framework documents for Operational Resilience, including DORA elements, BCM, and Crisis Management.

As a subject matter expert, you will provide stakeholders with guidance on establishing risk frameworks required to mitigate Non-Financial Risk exposures and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Partnering with senior leaders to facilitate informed risk decisions.
  2. Defining and embedding an effective Risk and Control Environment.
  3. Developing global framework documents for Operational Resilience.
  4. Providing stakeholders with guidance on establishing risk frameworks.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management within a financial or consultancy firm is required.
  • Demonstrable experience of operational resilience, DORA business continuity, and crisis management regulations is essential.
  • An educated background in Risk, Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
  • A proven track record in operating a measurements-based culture leading to continual improvement is desirable.

  • The ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights is necessary.
