Chief Security Strategist Role Summary

The Chief Security Strategist is a senior-level position responsible for designing, testing, implementing and maintaining network security infrastructure. This role evaluates the security of systems for vulnerabilities and participates in penetration tests, risk analyses on LANs, WANs and VPNs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop secure system architectures and embed security principles to mitigate risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
  • Create design artefacts that describe security principles and their relation to enterprise system architecture.
  • Perform routine activities related to the review and audit of infrastructure security systems and maintain documentation of security standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum 08 years of experience in managing IT systems environment with about 05 years of experience in financial institutes.
  • A Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis or Science (Computer Studies).
  • A minimum 3 years of work experience as a Cybersecurity Architect or Engineer.
  • Subject matter expert on Systems, Network and Security.
  • Knowledge and/or hands-on working experience with emerging technologies.
