Accounting and Human Resources Assistant Role

The primary function of this position is to manage the administrative tasks related to human resources and accounting. This encompasses timely and accurate processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, handling various HR-related duties, and managing work passes.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the role involves assisting in the submission of CPF contributions, IR21, IR8A, levy claim applications, government surveys, and other statutory submissions. Furthermore, maintaining and renewing insurances, security bonds, and insurance claims, as well as filing records and profiles in the HR system and MOM portal, are essential tasks.

From an accounting perspective, this role requires processing accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner, preparing consolidation and entity-level management reports, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system. Additionally, assisting in preparing corporate tax submissions, long- and short-term cash flow projections, and monitoring expenditure variances are key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in human resource and accounting roles. Proficiency in MS Office and HR/Payroll/Accounting software is required, along with excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
