Migrant Worker Support Specialist
Job Description:
As a Migrant Worker Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting migrant workers in dormitories, recreation centers, and other facilities. You will engage community partners, volunteers, and employees to run outreach programs and plan and coordinate with corporate partners, volunteers, and student groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support program evaluation, reporting, and standard operating procedures review to ensure service quality.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, assist casework, and help with daily operations.
- Implement case plans, community development projects, and group interventions.
- Conduct assessments, maintain case notes, and review interventions to improve outcomes, while collaborating with other agencies to pool resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in case work, social services, or a related field.
- Intermediate understanding of social work theories, ethics, casework, group work, and community development.
- Proficiency in social work interventions and programs through targeted activities.
