
Assistant Manager/senior Executive, Social Service

**What the role is**
- The Service Delivery and Coordination Division (SDCD) oversees the provision of financial and other social assistance, including that delivered through the Social Service Offices. It also carries out service management of regional services as well as provides guidance on the coordination of complex cases. The Social Service Systems Office (S3O) under SDCD aims to better support vulnerable families and individuals with complex needs and ensures that they can access assistance in a timely and integrated manner. S3O oversees the implementation of case coordination processes/practices and works with partners to enhance case coordination capabilities.
**What you will be working on**
- You will be part of the S3O that works with other partner agencies to: - Resolve cases with systems issues (i.e. cases with issues that cut across agencies, cases not within conventional policy boundaries). - Leverage technology such as the Case Connect IT system and Help Neighbour feature, and leverage data analytics to identify areas for improvement in policies or processes. - Build capability to resolve cases with systems issues, through Guidelines for Case Master Action Planning (Case MAP), Cross Sector Attachments, as well as support and guidance to SSO Regional Services (RS) teams.
**What we are looking for**
- As part of your job scope, you will be expected to: - Work with agencies to resolve systems issues which may involve policy and process changes. - Drive the adoption of the Help Neighbour feature to enable members of public to connect persons in need to assistance in a convenient manner. - Analyse data, by scoping data analytics projects, proposing and testing hypotheses, assisting in data collection and interpretation, visualising data and reporting findings. - Consolidate reports to management, and consolidate budget estimates and utilisation.
