As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to develop the skills they need to succeed in life.

">Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and interventions to help students with ASD to improve their sensory issues, handwriting difficulties, and vocational skills. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service that meets the needs of our students.

You will be expected to:

  • Conduct assessments and interventions to help students with ASD to improve their sensory issues, handwriting difficulties, and vocational skills
  • Develop and implement programs to support students with ASD in the areas of Life Readiness skills, including sensory, fine motor skills, handwriting skills, and work skills
  • Adapt the school and classroom environment, tools and materials to meet the needs of students with ASD
  • Plan and deliver training on ASD-related topics to stakeholders
  • Evaluate progress and outcomes using selected outcome measures at regular intervals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered OT with the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore as Full Registrant
  • Preferably have attained a Supervision certificate
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant working experience in the same or related field, including assessment, intervention, and teaching
  • Desire to learn about Autism and the passion to serve the autism community and their families
  • Excellent collaborative skills
