Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production line, you will be responsible for driving yield improvement and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated optical inspection recipes for all new product introductions (NPI) and inline processes.
  • Analyze line defects and provide feedback to process, NPI, EE, and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve low-yield tool issues through thorough analysis and root cause determination.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in yield improvement initiatives (CIP) to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze yield data to generate weekly reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and update specifications to ensure alignment with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform metrology tool maintenance and calibration, including bump shear, pull, X-ray, probe tools, and XRF tools.
  • Conduct statistical process control (SPC) analysis on bump characteristics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Enforce proper processing in the production line based on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working instructions.
  • Provide support for AOI and metrology-related issues on the production line.
  • Conduct specification gap analyses and implement changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in automated optical inspection (AOI) or visual inspection.
  • Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing cleanroom environment.
  • Good knowledge of SPC, MSA, FMEA, and other relevant engineering disciplines.
