Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of our hospital facilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, modification, and replacement of hospital facilities, mechanical and electrical services, and non-clinical equipment.
  • Ensure that maintenance agents meet performance targets, audit their work, and ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulations.
  • Lead and support facility improvement projects, including renovations, system upgrades, and funded initiatives.
  • Advise on resolving system failures, recommend replacements, and prepare technical specifications, estimates, and schedules.
  • Audit and ensure high standards of maintenance for critical systems essential to hospital operations.
  • Monitor worksite safety, infection control, and patient safety measures, supporting Facility Services Management and security matters when needed.
  • Promptly respond and recover from system breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in management of Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV), mechanical and electrical services, and facilities operation as well as improvement projects.
  • Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/Officer or relevant fire safety experience is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to perform under tight deadlines and fast-paced environments.
