Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will analyze existing code and scripts written in SAS/SQL languages, develop Python programs to replicate or improve existing functionality, document code and processes clearly to support future maintenance, troubleshoot and debug issues arising during migration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Code Analysis
    • Review and understand legacy code in SAS/SQL
    • Translate logic into Python for efficient migration
  • Program Development
    • Write high-quality Python code to replicate or improve existing functionality
    • Ensure programs are well-documented and easy to maintain
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting
    • Document code and processes clearly to support future maintenance
    • Troubleshoot and debug issues arising during migration
Requirements
  • Minimum of a diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Proven proficiency in Python programming & SQL
  • Good understanding of database concepts and data manipulation
  • Ability to read and understand legacy code in SAS/SQL and translate logic into Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt
Working Conditions
  • 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
