Semiconductor Applications Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment and applications.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance applications and equipment based on client needs.
- Lead and manage projects related to the implementation of new equipment and applications.
- Act as a liaison between clients and partners, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Generate regular reports on equipment performance, spare parts usage, and customer feedback for management review.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stocks on hand, facilitating smooth operations.
- Facilitate effective communication with customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical assistance to customers via phone, email or in-person.
- Troubleshooting equipment and application issues to resolve problems efficiently.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Ensuring timely and effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- 1 year of relevant experience in a technical support role.
- Proficient in Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking counterparts.
- Working experience in semiconductor tools and equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
- Excellent problem-solving ability to address technical challenges.
- Strong focus in providing customer-oriented service.
