As an Interface Coordination Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful integration and delivery of complex projects. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage technical and execution interfaces among various project stakeholders, including contractors, disciplines, vendors, and client teams.

  • You will identify and manage all internal and external technical and execution interfaces for the project, ensuring timely resolution of interface-related queries and requests.
  • Maintain and update the Interface Register and Interface Control Documents (ICDs), facilitating regular interface meetings and ensuring proper communication and alignment between stakeholders.
  • Liaise between engineering disciplines, vendors, subcontractors, and client teams to resolve interface issues, monitor interface deliverables, and ensure incorporation of interface requirements into the design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Work with document control to track interface correspondence and documentation, support risk assessments, and ensure interface risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and constructability reviews to address interface issues, reporting interface status and critical issues to relevant stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Naval Architecture, or related field) and a minimum 5–10 years of experience in oil & gas, preferably with at least 3 years on FPSO or large offshore projects. Previous experience in interface coordination, engineering, or systems integration roles is highly desirable.

  2. Strong understanding of offshore engineering disciplines and interfaces.
  3. Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  4. Proficiency in using project management tools and MS Office suite.
  5. Knowledge of industry codes and standards (API, DNV, ABS, etc.).
  6. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
