Waste Collection Specialist

As a Waste Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting various disposal items to designated facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures during driving, cooperation with colleagues, patience with clients, and maintenance of the vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect and transport waste to designated facilities, ensuring timely delivery and efficient routes.
2. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company guidelines and policies.
3. Develop good relationships with clients through excellent customer service skills and effective communication.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding waste collection and transportation.
Requirements:
- Class 3 License for commercial driving
- Construction experience, including site operations and management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Vehicle maintenance and repair knowledge
- Customer service experience, including conflict resolution
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and industry standards
