Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, developing and implementing process improvements, and collaborating with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality plans, procedures, and checklists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, including lean manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma projects.
  • Partner with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and improve overall quality.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on quality-related topics, such as SPC, FMEA, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, including SPC, FMEA, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies a plus.
