Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive research and perform in-depth analyses to improve blast resistance in precast structures and assess the risk of progressive collapse in flat slab systems.
  • Develop and implement innovative methods and solutions to enhance building safety and structural resilience.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, test, and optimize new materials and construction techniques.
  • Provide expert guidance on blast mitigation strategies and progressive collapse prevention in project planning.
  • Evaluate project compliance with safety standards and contribute to the university's mission of fostering innovation and protecting community welfare.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of blast effects on structures and progressive collapse analysis.
  • Familiarity with blast resistance safety standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with precast concrete structure design and analysis.
