Conference Support Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Conference Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, hospitality, travel, or the airlines industry.
The Conference Support Specialist will be responsible for coordinating travel logistics, managing event logistics, providing administrative support, handling client queries and feedback, and maintaining positive working relationships with internal departments and external clients.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flight bookings, transportation, and visas.
- Manage conference logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
- Provide administrative assistance, including event registration, attendee management, creating invoices, and collecting payments.
- Handle client inquiries and feedback efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external clients.
- Relevant experience in event management, hospitality, travel, or the airlines industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in GDS systems (such as Sabre) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring seamless conference execution from start to finish.
- Managing conference registrations and attendee management.
- Providing timely and accurate reports to stakeholders.
- Handling client complaints and feedback efficiently and professionally.
