Job Title: Automotive Technical Manager

About the Role:

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical aspects of our automotive services, including identifying and assessing training needs, creating tailored training plans, and implementing various technical training methods to enhance staff skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

">

  1. Ensuring all services and repairs comply with manufacturer guidelines and protocols.

  2. Investigating and responding to customer feedback to team members.

  3. Analyzing and diagnosing faulty parts or components and providing effective solutions to HODs or customers.

  4. Supporting HODs in addressing customer questions and complaints related to our products, such as ICE trucks and buses, and High Voltage vehicles.

  5. Providing HODs support for special tools and workshop equipment.

  6. Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of ICE engine, turbocharger system, CAN bus, and other related systems.

  7. Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of EV system, Battery Management System, CAN bus, and other related systems.

  8. Submitting technical reports.

  9. Supporting the workshop in repair and servicing when needed.

  10. Advising on and performing in-depth trouble shooting using diagnostic tools and hands-on repair when necessary.

  11. Participating in PTOs/LTA schedule meetings for all technical matters.

  12. Working with HODs to evaluate individual performance and ensure training meets business needs and improves performance.

  13. Identifying training needs by consulting with HODs and planning in-house training programs and external courses.

  14. Developing and delivering training needs that meet future business objectives.

  15. Meeting training needs for company In-house training plan on EV upskilling skills for STEMOS staff.

  16. Ensuring training KPI on mandatory Technical e-Learning -100% is achievable (MAN).

  17. Ensuring training performance bonus target is 100% achievable (MAN).
