Job Title: Accounts Specialist

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable teams at JointHire Singapore Pte Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue debit and credit notes to customers in a timely manner.
  • Send e-statements of accounts and reminders to customers via email or post.
  • Follow up on payments with customers through phone calls or written correspondence.
  • Update customer email contacts in the master file to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify and file tax invoices to maintain compliance.
  • Input accounts receivable receipts and bank charges into the system for accurate tracking.
  • Receive debtor confirmations and check confirmations from customers' auditors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Generate sales reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and generate purchase reports to track expenses and optimize spending.
  • Assist the manager in drafting audit confirmation letters to customers as required.
  • Prepare and provide mid-month aging reports to stakeholders.
  • Prepare vouchers and arrange monthly payments to trade and non-trade suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing schedules for reporting purposes and financial analysis.
Requirements:
  • Minimum O-Level/ Nitec/ Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
  • Accounting-related work experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a strong understanding of formulas and functions.
  • Knowledge of GST principles and practices is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree holders are welcome to apply.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and responsible individuals who can multitask efficiently are ideal candidates.
