Lead Project Coordinator Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled project lead to manage and deliver our projects successfully. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating project staff, providing direction and support to the team, and delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed.

  • The project lead will plan and schedule project timelines, monitor progress, and report on results to stakeholders;
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions;
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project output;
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team;
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations;
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas;
  • Attend site meetings with main contractors, consultants, architects, and clients;
  • Monitor and follow up construction progress and progress claims;
  • Ensure timely delivery and execution of the project;
  • Liaise with site staff, supervisors, foremen, and suppliers;
  • Ensure that all construction safety rules and regulations are observed;
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • 5-8 years of working experience or 3 years in a similar capacity;
  • Comprehension for written and verbal graphic instructions;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Relevant experience in mechanical works;
  • Good troubleshooting skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Able to work under pressure with high initiative;
  • Strong teamwork and customer-focused skills.
