Job Title: Head of Management Support

Join us at the International Centre for Aviation Innovation (ICAI) as we seek a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Local Development Centre (LDC) Management Support team.

About the Role

The Head of LDC Management Support will be responsible for managing the progress of our NexGen program, as well as internal and external stakeholder management, and middle and back office management. This role is critical to the success of our NexGen LDC, which aims to build local capability to undertake indigenous co-deployment, co-development, and maintenance of CAAS' NexGen Air Navigation Service System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program management progress tracking: Consolidate program status and summarize status as a dashboard for management update, identify potential challenges in conjunction with the program leads, and update management with recommendations to enable timely decision making and intervention.
  • Stakeholder management: Manage relationship and communications with CAAS NGPO and ATS, and external stakeholders, including prime and sub-contracted OEMs, and LLEs, to foster collaboration and drive collective growth.
  • Middle Office: Set up the physical working space for the LDC, manage IT infrastructure, and data and knowledge management.
  • Back Office: Develop talent strategy, manage and mentor a team of professionals, coordinate with CAAS on recruitment and training, and track competencies of LDC staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: Demonstrated track record in managing high-tempo operations, proven experience in mentoring and nurturing talent, and experience in managing diverse aviation stakeholders and partners.
  • Skills: Good organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position based at the Innovation Centre in Singapore, with occasional travels for OEM meetings and flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
