Deputy Director of Organisational Development

This is a pivotal role in driving the agency's capacity to effectively respond to communicable disease challenges, thereby contributing to the overall public health resilience of Singapore.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive organisational development strategies aligned with the agency's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for organisational improvement, change, and transformation to enhance the agency's agility and resilience in responding to communicable disease threats.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support and facilitate smooth transitions during organisational changes, minimising disruptions to operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive transformational change efforts, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive organisational culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of purpose in addressing communicable disease issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in organisational development, human resources, public health, business administration, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in organisational development, change management, and employee engagement initiatives within the public sector, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Key skills include effective communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
