Process Safety Consultant - Singapore Opportunity

AcuTech is a premier provider of process safety, risk management, and emergency management services. Our team has deep expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM), Training, Implementation, Auditing, Process Hazard Analyses (PHA's), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs), Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Facility Siting.

We are seeking highly qualified and motivated Senior and/or Principal Process Safety Consultants in Singapore to help fuel our growth. Candidates would join a highly respected team of industry leading PSM experts on challenging projects for many of the world's largest corporations.

As part of our team, you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management in Singapore and Asia. You will apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations.
  • Perform process hazard analyses (PHA), specifically HAZOP studies and other risk assessments.
  • Facilitate and scribe PHA specifically HAZOP studies for different types of industries and/or processes.
  • Develop, write, and implement PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  1. 8 to 15+ years' experience in process safety, process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), or related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
  2. BS/MS in related engineering field (chemical, process safety or relevant discipline) or associated science degree.
  3. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills with a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in performing Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Safety Case.
  • Experienced in developing and writing standard operating procedures and designing philosophies.
